Panhandle PBS Contributes to Community Engagement for Stations Nationwide

Panhandle PBS is proud to have contributed to the development of PBS’s newly launched Community Engagement Learning Path, a comprehensive professional development program now available to public media stations across the country through Public Media Learns.Created by the PBS Immersive Learning Team and the PBS Programming Engagement Team in partnership with Nine PBS, the Community Engagement Learning Path and companion guidebook were designed as evergreen resources to help stations strengthen their engagement strategies, build meaningful partnerships, and better serve their communities.

AC’s Communications and Marketing Team Earns Six National Awards

Amarillo College’s Communications and Marketing team has been nationally recognized with six honors from the 2025 Educational Digital Marketing Awards, celebrating excellence in digital strategy, storytelling, and student-focused communication.The team received three Gold Awards, one Silver Award, and two Bronze Awards for standout work that supports student engagement and institutional advancement.

Panhandle PBS Earns Statewide Audience for Local Documentaries

Two locally produced documentaries from Panhandle PBS have been selected to air across Texas after being chosen by a panel of PBS staff representing the 10 public television stations in the state.The selected films— “The Rain We Keep” and “Broken Bread: Examining Senior Food Insecurity in the Texas Panhandle”—were chosen from 15 submissions for broadcast.
